About Me

I’m Li Wen, a VER student in Southern University of Science and Technology since August 2022. I graduated from Guangdong University of Technology with an Bachlor degree, and continued to pursue a master’s degree here. My major is mechanical engineering, and my research direction is lidar slam, mainly focusing on point cloud registration.

Research

The goal of point cloud registration is to find the rigid transformation parameters (rotation matrix and translation vector) which best aligns the point cloud X to Y. At present, my research focuses on efficient and accurate registration methods, which are based on vehicle-borne lidar and are mainly aimed at point clouds with large scenes and high overlapping rate.
